Not Like Money

Darius Cache (pronounced kaSH) dreamed of becoming a rap star but life had other plans. Talent and passion weren't enough to achieve the recognition of T.I., Jeezy, Drake, or any musicians he enjoyed. Born Darius Bernard Woodfin, his last name was changed from his mother's maiden name to his father's last name, Bowdry, at age fifteen. Like his mother, Darius didn't graduate traditional high school but recieved a general equivalency diploma, or GED.

From poetry to rap, the music industry proved to be too elusive. After a two-year prison sentence he became sober. Through his company, Darius Cache Company LLC, and his nonprofit organization, Noah's Fund for Mental Health Research & Education, he is an advocate for mental health and repairing family structure related to conflict resolution, conquering substance abuse, and anger management.
